LG Plasma TV Has a Loyal Following

Plasma TVs are currently doing very well and are providing stiff competition to LED and LCD TVs. The screen of a plasma TV is very large and the sizes vary from 42 inches to a gigantic 65 inches. Amongst the very many good Plasma TV brands available in the market, the LG Plasma TV has managed to hold its own and carve out a loyal niche for itself.

Plasma TVs have pixels in the three colours of green, red and blue and the various combinations of these three colours form the entire spectrum of colours. They are distributed evenly along the screen. The images in a Plasma TV are formed through the lighting of the fluorescent colours. The screen of a Plasma TV is flat and thin and displays high quality pictures. Although plasma TVs use considerable amounts of energy, there are some which use less energy and if energy-saving is a factor in the purchase process, you must keep this in mind.

Although, plasma TVs are usually mounted on flat walls, they also come as ceiling-mounts, tilt-mounts, table mounts, articulating wall mounts and these make excellent space-saving devices. With attractive frames, one can make a plasma TV look elegant and smart. Maintaining your plasma TV is important if you want it to last long. For this, you should keep the brightness and contrast at the correct level and provide for proper ventilation for the cooling system of the plasma.

Although plasma TVs in general are more expensive than normal TVs, in the long run the investment pays off as these TVs if maintained properly last very long. The LG Plasma TV is a good choice for its clarity of pictures, longevity and high quality resolutions.

3D Plasma TV- Experience ‘Reality’ TV at its Best!

First there was TV and then came TVs followed by LCDs and LEDs; now, the newest entry in the field of TVS is the 3D Plasma TV and it has already taken viewers by storm if one goes by current sales! The present TV battle is being fought out between the two main giants vis-à-vis, the LCD TV and the 3D TV. Although, a cursory look may show that both technologies showcase the 3D effect in similar ways, closer inspection reveals the differences in the way both display images and in their process of doing so.

Panasonic 3D Plasma TV
One of the main areas where 3D Plasma TVs score is in their processing speed which is higher than that of LCD TV.  Plasma TVs never had any hassles with motion images or side to side jerking as the images never got blurred. In 3D, the problem in normal TVs may therefore get manifold but it never becomes an issue in plasma TVs. The depth perception in plasma TV with 3D is also better as the pixels of the plasma TV allow for improved picture depth. The colour accuracy and rendition is also far superior in 3D plasma TVs.

3D Plasma TV will allow you to experience larger-than –life images and you can even turn your favourite TV programs into 3D for the ultimate in reality TV viewing!
